What’s the buzz? Due to overwhelming demand, The Frontier Touring Company and The Really Useful Group are delighted to confirm third Jesus Christ Superstar performance in Brisbane!
The new arena production of Jesus Christ Superstar will tour Australia in 2013.
The show stars Australia’s own Tim Minchin as ‘Judas Iscariot’, former Spice Girl Melanie C as ‘Mary Magdalene’ and the critically acclaimed new-comer Ben Forster in the role of ‘Jesus’. Australian additions to the tour will see Jon Stevens returning to Jesus Christ Superstar in the role of ‘Pontius Pilate’ (Stevens played Judas in the 1992 Australian arena tour and the 1994 theatre production) and Andrew O’Keefe in the role of ‘King Herod’.
Andrew Lloyd Webber says: "I'm thrilled that Australia is to be the first leg for our international tour of the new Jesus Christ Superstar. We had an overwhelming reception when the show toured the country for an astounding 84 dates in 1992. I hope this new production, which has been totally re-conceived for the 21st century, will entertain a new generation of Australians as well as those who already love the show."

Australia’s love affair with P!NK continues! Following the overwhelming ticket demand during the pre-sale windows - and ahead of tickets going on general sale tomorrow morning at 9am - one additional show date has been added to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre itinerary.
Renowned around the world as one of the most dynamic live performers of her generation – and by far the most successful female touring and recording artist ever in the Australian market - P!NK’s 2009 Funhouse Tour was one of the biggest Australian tours ever.
Starting off as a 20 show run, overwhelming demand meant that the tour extended into a three-month stay, with P!nk eventually playing a phenomenal 58 sold out shows to more than 670,000 fans around the country. Funhouse broke Australian box office attendance records, reaching a staggering 17 sold out shows and 220,000 ticket sales at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, 12 stunning shows at the Sydney Entertainment Centre and 11 at Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre.

Worldwide superstar Rihanna - the “#1 Person On Facebook” with over 63 million fans – is bringing her DIAMONDS WORLD TOUR to Australia and New Zealand this spring. World tour promoters Live Nation confirmed that the tour which kicks off in North America this week is set to dazzle fans down under with a concert confirmed in Brisbane on Saturday 28 September, 2013.
Rihanna has dominated global charts with “Diamonds,” the fastest-rising single of her career to date and first single to be release from UNAPOLOGETIC her 7th studio album for Island Def Jam in just seven years.

Violin master André Rieu, one of the best-selling live acts in the world, is delighted to announce he is returning to Australia and New Zealand with a brand new show in October 2013. Called “Änd The Waltz Goes On Tour”, the tour is named after his successful album on which he collaborated with Sir Anthony Hopkins. Rieu will perform in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Auckland. Tickets for his Australian and New Zealand tour go on sale on November 9th, 2012 (ticket pre-sale on November 2nd).
Rieu has sold over 32 million albums globally, received 243 platinum awards for his albums and has broken all classical concert records, packing stadiums and arenas with more than 700,000 adoring fans each year.
